Aragon House is a late Georgian Grade II listed mansion in West London on the site of Catherine of Aragon’s former home. Used by the British Legion as its headquarters for much of the 20th century, the building had been subject to heavy alterations resulting in the loss of many original features and much of its historic character.

Mackenzie Wheeler carried out an extensive renovation to create a new 14-bedroom hotel with restaurant, bars, events spaces and a beautiful new garden, whilst restoring the charm and period detail of the 5-storey building.

Working closely with heritage consultants and the Council’s conservation officer, we remodelled the ground floor to recreate the original double fronted layout, reinstating the grand central staircase and other historic features to showcase the house’s engaging and eclectic interiors.
