Mackenzie Wheeler was established as a partnership in 1986 by Rupert Wheeler and Duncan Mackenzie and specialises in providing architectural and interior design services to the Hospitality, Leisure and Educational sectors.

The practice operates from their riverside studios on the River Thames in Putney, South West London and comprises 30 staff with a range of architectural, technical, interior design and project management skills.

The partners are assisted by three associates: Julze Best, Raymond Shotter and Peter Gilbertson, who have an interior design, technical and architectural background respectively and all of who actively participate in project development and practice management.

The practice operates nationally and internationally and is involved in projects in Europe and the Mediterranean, the Middle and Far East, and the Caribbean. We generally take the role of design team leader and can provide a very comprehensive design service from architecture through to interior design and the procurement of all FF&E. However, we also offer partial services in close cooperation with other consultants from all disciplines. The range of these services are described on the following pages.
